Mieko Ikeda Has Received a Prize in the National Competition for Story Telling of Chilgok History and Culture 2015
Mieko Ikeda, the wife of Jesu Noh, has received a prize in the National Competition for Story Telling of Chilgok History and Culture 2015 in South Korea, and donated the prize money to scholarships for students in Chilgok County. Ms. Ikeda is the first Japanese who has received the award. In an interview for a local newspaper, Ms. Ikeda said she would love to continue working for the good of South Korea just like her husband, who has business both in Japan and South Korea.
Jesu Noh’s Paper Submitted to Seoul National University is Now Available Online
In August 2015, Jesu Noh submitted a paper on the theme of “Korean-Japanese cultural exchange and the future of Korean-Japanese relations” to the Hakbong Prize hosted by the Seoul National University School of Law. The paper was co-written by Jesu Noh and Akinori Utsumi, the Japanese representative of the Japan-South Korea Vision Alliance, for advancing Japanese-Korean relations to a new stage after the 50th anniversary of normalization of diplomatic ties between the two nations.
